The Problem
Construction schedule specifications are all over the map.
Every year private owners and public agencies tweak their
specs to reflect schedule software changes, evolving
contract delivery methods, plug holes that cause abuses,
address strategies to control claims and reflect the
experiences of the individual who happens to be assembling
the next set of contract documents. |
The Solution
The development of best practices in schedule
specifications. This website will not provide
the solution. The various construction trade
associations are charged with that task. What this
website will do is provide resources, report on developments
and collect your ideas and feedback. There are a
number of specifications out there that have incorporated
innovative ideas, crisp language or comprehensive clauses
that merit consideration for best practices. |
| An Approach A recommended
approach to schedule specification development is to
structure a format that separates the administrative best
practices that are independent of software capabilities and
project types. Click here
or select the Approach menu item for more details.

posted on the Internet. |
